Diwali is celebrated on the 13th day of the Hindu month Ashwin which usually occurs in the month of October or November as per the Georgian calendar.

The pleasant winter days and the gentle warmth of diyas is a mesmerising experience. The word Diwali itself means rows of lamps. It is a festival that celebrates light over darkness, victory of good over evil.

During this time families come together and exchange sweets, gifts and lots of memories. Colourful rangolis are put outside the house, fire crackers are burst, and happiness is shared through charity work and goodwill.
